Brompton Community School sits on 27 acres at Braehead Manor in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Our students spend most of the school day outdoors, in every season and nearly every kind of weather. Inside we study Latin, rigorous mathematics, honest history, strong writing, science, civics, world cultures, and geography. We are not a nature program with some academics attached. We are a rigorous K-8 school that holds class in the woods. Families come to us from Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, and King George.

Brompton Community School Summer Camp
BCS Summer Camp has arrived! We are excited to introduce a stellar line-up of fledgling camps this year. Some important information to know:

Please call or email before registering for D&D Camp - two of our sessions are full

Camp cost: $195 for each half-day camp.

Full-day Option: Campers staying for a full day should bring a bagged lunch.
We'll enjoy lunch and relaxed outdoor free play from 12-1 each day. -
A completed Camp Registration & Virginia Health Information Form is required prior to the start of camp.

Minimum participation of 6 campers per session

Maximum participation of 12 campers *with the exception of Dragons & Dungeons Camps which has a maximum of 6 participants.
No experience required -just bring your curiosity, a sense of adventure, and a friend (or two)!
Spots are limited, and we can't wait to spend part of the summer learning and exploring together.
