Let’s talk about school lunches for a minute. Raise your hand if you love spending an hour preparing your kid’s lunch only to have them bring it home half eaten? Yeah, me neither. How about all the time you spend in the grocery store fighting over snacks/fruit cups/applesauce packets/cookies? Nope, I don’t love that either.
Luckily for you BCS has taken one more thing off your plate this school year. (see what i did there? 😉). We have partnered with a local restaurant to provide our lunch every day. Woohoo! Our school lunch vision is to eventually have family style meals with fresh, seasonal, whole foods, organic when possible. This year lunches will be individual bagged lunches, still fresh, whole, + seasonal. They will be delivered fresh at lunchtime each day.
The best part is that it’s already included in your tuition. Well, to be honest, that might not be the best part. The best part is that our school lunches will be provided by Foode. Yes, for real. They were our first choice for lunch providers and happily, (so, so happily) they agreed! Foode aligns with our core values: integrity, service, excellence, community, + sustainability. They are also a local business, community pillars, and awesome people.
